  • DS- Data Center Technical Analyst-Network (BJ)  
       

           Role Summary:
  • To work within the ADP Network Product team with a specific focus on design, implementation and support for ADP’s International offices & customer base


      Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement and maintain customer networks (Worldwide excluding North America)
    • Monitor ADP Call Logging System in order to adopt & deal with customer calls within SLA
    • Update customers regularly with the progress of their support calls
    • Ensure that all calls are brought to resolution as swiftly as possible, and to the satisfaction of the customer
    • To provide documentation and technical solutions for our customer facing networks & Knowledgebase
    • To provide training where necessary for other members of the N&T Product Group
    • To assist with the provision of training for in country support staff within ADP
    • Implement and utilise appointed network and telephony monitoring systems
    • To attend customer sites where necessary
    • To performance office internal IP infrastructure tasks
    • To work extended hours where necessary
    • To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested

             Experience and/or Qualifications Required:

          • Excellent networking knowledge
          • LAN/WAN protocols & design, Routing, Switching, VLANs & specifically Cisco Firewalls
          • A thorough understanding of Cisco IOS is required
          • Engineers should hold a minimum Cisco CCNP (or equivalent) and be working towards a higher level certification
          • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN technologies, specificially, MPLS, EZVPN & DMVPN
          • Previous experience of WAN/hardware rollout project, within the international arena, including the production of network diagrams & supporting documentation
          • Skills in Cisco telephony solutions is preferable but not mandatory
          • Willingness to develop skills in this technology area is essential

             

             Personal Skills Required:

          • Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise own workload
          • Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential
          • Work both individually and as part of a team
          • Responsibility – recognise when problems need escalating
          • Accountability – be able to take ownership of problems and see them through to a satisfactory conclusion
          • Personal presentation must be professsional at all times as attendance at customer meetings/sites will be required
          • Presentation/Training skills desirable
